Isabel Sagisi Rayngay, 78, a resident of the San Jose area, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, surrounded by her family.

Born in 1938 in the Philippines, Isabel Rayngay moved to Hawaii to raise her family and find a better way of life. Many years later, they moved to California during an economic boom. She worked in the silicon industry for 10+ years before taking early retirement. Isabel loved her family unconditionally.

She especially adored being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family and anyone who came through the front door, eating and sampling all different types of food, entertaining and visiting her family, and loved a good laugh.

During her quiet times, she loved listening to music, especially her favorite group, Abba and dancing to Dancing Queen, watching her favorite TV shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, crocheting, adoring her flowers, watering her garden every morning, and flipping through her extensive collection of family photo albums.

Isabel simply enjoyed life.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Rayngay, 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, with Rosary and Eulogy at 6:00pm at the Lima Family Mortuary in Fremont.
